If for Millennials, innovations and modern implications are a usual affair and part of their life, then for Baby Boomers, innovative technologies are a time-consuming and demanding dilemma. Moreover, the gap between these generations is also related to the development techniques (Kurup & Rosenbaum, 2010).

The Learning Management Systems play a vital role in improving the welfare of human beings, especially when it comes to learning and training processes at the workplace. The Learning Management Systems help to improve knowledge and develop practical skills. Moreover, they help to avoid challenges of HRM. This research paper intends to describe the current training and development techniques that are necessary for Millennials. It reveals the advantages and disadvantages of Learning Management Systems. The Training and Development Techniques for Millennials and Baby Boomers

Millennials were exposed to technologies from their early years; therefore, all their life and professional activities are related to innovations, changes, and digital technology. For them, advances in technologies are usual thing as compared with Baby Boomers who try to avoid absorbing in Learning Management Systems. BI empowers employees to make better business decisions as they should not spend much time on collecting, storing and analysis of data. For Millennials, BI will be a helpful application that will make their work easier. In regard with Baby Boomers, acquisition of this system will take them much effort. Communication and technology transition is a usual process for Millennials that does not bother them. Text messages and social networking belongs to their lifestyle; therefore, computers, laptops, and other devices are the items that make them more confident in their skills and knowledge. However, in comparison with Baby Boomers who have a good command of face-to-face communication, Millennials lack interpersonal skills as they used to communicate via Internet. As a result, they need Learning Systems to improve their communication and negotiation skills (Sujansky & Ferri-Reed, 2009).

The main issue of using technologies by Millennials is that they can spend their working time on sending text messages, checking Facebook updates and chatting. As a result, in addition to providing instructions on using the innovative technologies, one should train and learn Millennials to leave their personal life at home and devote more time to their professional duties. It is evident that both Millennials and Baby Boomers require learning and training practices when they use Learning Management Systems. However, Baby Boomers should learn how to use IT technologies, and Millennials should learn how to use IT technologies efficiently.

As for Baby Boomers, it is a must for them to develop their knowledge of technologies.

First of all, they will help to learn how to avoid fear and uncertainty with the mobile devices. The company should give them the additional time for practicing as they are egocentric and have issues with the young generation like as Millennials. The Advantages and Disadvantages of LMS

A number of strengths and weaknesses of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) for Millennials and Baby Boomers can be distinguished. The advantages of LMS consist in quick learning of the peculiarities of the work, its activities, and services. LMSs give all necessary information online thus reducing time and efforts. However, this is an advantage for Millennials. In respect to Baby Boomers, they need time to learn how to use LMS. LMSs perform the role of data storing and preserving. The using of Learning Management Systems implies the implementation of the innovative approach at the workplace. However, both Millennials and Baby Boomers require additional training to fulfil organizational objectives. Comparison of Millennials' Learning with Baby Boomers' Learning

The baby boom generation consists of workers that were born between 1943 and 1965. This period is considered to be a baby boom because of the high birth rates. The baby boom generation differs from the traditional generation by their revolutionary and radical thinking. They are ready to protest against injustice and inequality at the working place that is why in the 21st century organizations, they occupy leading positions. Boomers respect authority; they grew up in optimism and prosperity and thus believe that it is possible to change the world. The main challenge provoked by Baby Boomers is that they do not trust traditional generation that is over 30 years old.

Generation Y includes individuals who were born between 1978 and 2003. They are also called Nexters, Millennials, the Net Generation, N-Gens, Echo Boomers, Generation E, Generation www, and the Digital Generation. Even these names prove the influence of dramatic technological advances and computers. The representatives of Generation Y feel comfortable with the innovative technologies as compared with the previous generations. They are characterized by collective actions, embracing diversity and team work. They are optimistic and ready to any changes (Sujansky & Ferri-Reed, 2009).

Speaking about the learning process of Millennials and Baby Boomers, oit is important to mention that there are crucial differences between them due to the age and time. Both generations can deal with variousissues during the learning process. However, Baby Boomers are more responsible, and they worry about any mistake while Millennials take everything calmly. Baby Boomers are always looking for the new opportunities of the career growth, and learning for them is like admitting of their weak sides, especially when it comes to IT technologies. As to Millennials, they learn in order not to lose their job and get to know something new. Millennials are experts in technologies, but it is difficult for Baby Boomers to admit this.

Baby Boomers are always skeptical about generation of Millennials and consider them as irresponsible and uncommitted in a learning process. The representatives of baby boom generation may be workaholics. At all accounts, in learning and training process, both generations should collaborate. For example, Baby Boomers are more experienced, and they can help Millennials to avoid mistakes in their work. As to Millennials, they can be teachers for Baby Boomers in terms of mastering new technologies. Such collaboration will result in friendly atmosphere at the workplace and thus increase productivity (Kurup & Rosenbaum, 2010).

The Role of Technologies for the Learning Process

Technologies offer more innovative tools for learning. These can be online conferences, presentations, educational films and videos. There are synchronous and asynchronous e-learning methods. Synchronous methods include chat and videoconferencing. These methods are rather participating than isolated. Asynchronous e-learning methods include discussion boards and emails, which means that it is an isolated method. However, for training and learning at the workplace both ways are efficient (O’Neill, Singh, & O’Donoghue, 2004).

As a result, for Baby Boomers, the learning that involves using technologies can be a challenge as E-learning comprises all forms of electronics means of teaching and learning (information system, communication systems, networked learning) (Fahy, 2004).

E-learning systems consist of the mechanisms of creation class rosters, uploading and management of documents, delivery of content, creation and publication, interaction process and methods of testing and assessment. E-learning systems are efficient for training environments, talent management, and educational institutions.

It is worth noting that e-learning is a risky way of learning for Baby Boomers as for them, such a method is new and unfamiliar.
